Party season has begun and I’ve spoken to many people over the past week looking for the perfect party dress for tween girls in the Stella M’Lia designer range. Stella M’Lia special occasion dresses are designed for “not-quite-in-stilletto set” tween and teen girls.  Today I’m looking at styles in the Stella M’Lia range which are size and age appropriate for the 10 year old tween and above, who is looking for a sophisticated but young and pretty party dress.

The Stella M’Lia Anna dress is a gorgeous pleated top with bubble skirt in organza and it comes in a variety of modern colours to suit different complexions. The detachable straps allows the wearer to choose the look.

The internal padding can be easily removed for the younger girl in this style.

Another style which has been popular is the Stella M’Lia Beth dress. This dress fits a girl from girls size 10 (this is a generalised sizing based on our current girls designer labels as there is no industry standard).

The Stella M’Lia Beth dress is a stunning taffeta dress. Its skirt has ribbon detailing ending in a balloon hem and balanced with a straight bodice with a gently pleated waist. Once again, it comes in a variety of colours. Check our website for which new colours also have detachable straps included.

Other styles that will fit the younger tween include the Stella M’Lia Emma and Lia dresses. The Stella M’Lia Lia dresses are often limited edition dresses in luxurious fabrics including thai silk.

So hopefully this will give you some ideas when you’re looking for that special Stella M’Lia party dress for a wedding or birthday or other special occasion for tween girls from ages 10 and above.

In a later post, I’ll look at the styles that are  more suited to the older tween and teen girl.
